To earn the exclusive Tusky Ambassador patch, a unit needs to sign up to be Tusky Ambassadors, receive the official Tusky Ambassador Package, and meet with at least one unit to speak with them about attending Tuscarora in 2025.
Tusky Ambassadors will be awarded with their patch and public recognition at Summer Camp 2025 and will be invited to an exclusive Ambassador event during their week of camp!

How does my Unit become a Tusky Ambassador?
Becoming Tusky ambassadors could not be easier! Let’s break it down into 4 easy steps:
- Reach out to a unit near yours who has not attended Summer Camp at Tuscarora and pick a date for a presentation that is at least 4 weeks out.
- Get a headcount of Scouts in the unit you’re visiting (it’ll be important if it’s more than 25 Scouts)
- Click on the link below and sign your Unit up to be Ambassadors. Enter the information of a leader of your unit who the promotional materials will be mailed to (this is why the lead time is important).
- Record which members of your unit conducted the Tusky Presentation for recognition at Camp this summer!
